Webb1 aug. 2024 · Have you seen the coolant level low in the radiator, is there sludge in the overflow bottle also? Generally blown head gaskets will blow the coolant out of the radiator and into the overflow bottle, it is more than what the cooling system will draw back in when cooling down, so will leave the radiator low. Webb9 nov. 2014 · I'd clean the cap, change the coolant, change the oil and pull the water pump cover off and clean that area as well. Then go ride for a good 45min ride on a trail-track loop you know. If the problem is as bad as it was before pull the water pump cover and look there first. The seal may be going.

Intake manifold gasket = oil in coolant = radiator cap with sludge. I checked the oil and it is as clean as a whistle.
