You could say: "I did some reading yesterday", "I read a book for a while, an hour, etc." or "I read a few pages or chapters", something like that. I prefer "I did some reading". WebWork around is to ask for the Audible title. Or to manual select through the Alexa app. Since different books can have similar/identical titles. When starting a new book, I usually listen for a few minutes through the audible app. Thereafter, Alexa will usually get the right book.
